Take That Sales Call

There are Several Good Reasons You Should Take That Sales Call.

Do you get annoyed because people keep hounding you with sales calls, cold calling at your premises or cold calling on the phone.  Do you constantly tell your secretary or a member of your team to tell that caller, you're not in, you're out on business, or it's best to email you, so you can delete it without reading?

Take The Call

The person calling you has an agenda, and that is usually to introduce you to a service, before you take the call, you don't know what the conversation will be like, the personality of the caller or whether or not they really have something you can use.  Only one thing is certain before you take the call and that is YOU DON'T KNOW.

Give The Caller Two Minutes

To minutes of your time to each caller can make a difference and it can actually reduce the number of calls you receive.  This is because when you refuse to take the call, the caller will try again and again and again.  If you take the call you have given them an opportunity to speak.

A Polite No Thank You is the Best Way To Stop Calls

A cold caller, only wants to get to speak with you, if you take the call and its not the service you want or need, then say no politely.  Once they have spoken to you and had that opportunity they can then carry on with the next person, moving through their contact list.  For most sales people, numbers is the name of the game and you could be the one that says 'YES', but a caller won't know unless they have spoken with you, which is why they will keep calling.

Do You Really Get Hundred's of Calls or is it the Same Callers, Just Trying to Talk With You.

Once you've accepted the calls, yes of course you will get new callers, but you will probably find the number of calls drop, as you've given opportunities to the callers to speak with you.

THE CALL YOU TAKE COULD BE THE ONE YOU NEED!
